Rules

CAMPSITES: Only 1 unit allowed per site (trailer, camper or tent.) Only 1 tent (Maximum size 7' x 7') is allowed, if necessary, for your visitors for a short period of time and must be put away when not in use.

The upkeep of the sites is the responsibility of the campers. CAMPSITES ARE TO BE KEPT NEAT AND TIDY AT ALL TIMES. Please store lawn chairs, bikes etc. in your shed or trailer during absence of more than one day, and lawns must be kept cut and trimmed or a $30.00 grass cutting fee will be applied.

24 patio lights or 2 spotlights are permitted. PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHTS WHEN RETIRING AT NIGHT AND BEFORE GOING HOME.

PLEASE NO: Sprinklers, electric heaters, washers or dryers.- Skateboards, electric scooters, FIREWORKS, firearms, pellet or paintball guns.- Buildings other than 1 steel prefabricated storage shed (no additions to sheds). - Refrigerators outside. - Storage of empty boat or utility trailers or snowmobiles on your site from May 31st to October 31st. - No clotheslines on trees.

TREES AND SHRUBS: No damaging or cutting of live trees is permitted anywhere on our campgrounds. Park staff will do the work if needed.

BOAT TRAILER STORAGE AREA: Located behind Rec Hall and across from Groundhog 17. These areas are for empty boat trailers or registered dock rentals only.

SALE OF TRAILERS: Please see management.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: The use of alcoholic beverages is restricted to the CAMPERS OWN SITE ONLY. Walking with alcohol anywhere is NOT allowed.

APPROVAL OF TRAILERS: All trailers coming in must be approved by the management first. No units older than 15 years are permitted.

FLORIDA ROOMS AND SOLID AWNINGS: H.&H. Aluminum Structures are the only ones permitted. NO HOME- MADE STRUCTURES OR ADDITIONS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.

TRESPASSING: Please stay within park property. DO NOT TRESPASS ONTO OUR NEIGHBOURS' LAND! If you are caught you could face eviction from the park.

SPEEDING: Please obey the signs and watch the speed bumps - bikers included. Kids must wear helmets.

DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENCE: Campers and visitors without a valid drivers licence are not permitted to drive on our Park roads either. Please do not have children on your lap or in the back of trucks while driving on Park property.

BOATERS: Speeding must stop in the docking area - it is dangerous and damages boats and docks. IDLE SPEED ONLY PLEASE !

SIGNS: "FOR SALE" signs are not allowed.

SWIMMING POOL: We do not have a lifeguard at the pool; your children's safety is your own responsiblity. Please read and obey the pool rules before entering the fenced in area. Non-swimmers and children under 12yrs of age are not allowed in the area unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

NO FOOD, DRINKS OR SMOKING IN THE POOL AREA. PROPER BATHING SUITS OR TRUNKS MUST BE WORN, NOT SHIRTS.

MINI-GOLF: Free for all registered families and their guests. The course is for playing golf only, not for bikes, pets or kids to play on.

ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES: List of activities is available at the store.

PLAYGROUNDS: Use at your own risk. Small children must be accompanied by an adult when using the equipment.

PETS: DOGS AND CATS MUST BE ON A LEASH! Please do not use our walkways, play areas or your neighbor's lawn as a bathroom for your pet! When walking your dog or cat - ON A LEASH - please carry a bag and a scooper. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG OR CAT UNATTENDED. ALSO, CONTROL THE BARKING!

QUIET TIME: From 11:00 PM till 8:00 AM. SATURDAYS from 12:00 midnight till 8:00 AM. Loud music and noise etc. can be very annoying to other people. WHAT IS TOO LOUD? When it can be heard 2 sites away, it is too loud. Please be considerate. CURFEW IS AT 11:00 P.M. FOR PERSONS 18 AND UNDER. Parents, please check to see where your children are at this time.

NO POWER MOWERS, CHAIN SAWS, POWER EQUIPMENT , OR CONSTRUCTION OF ANY KIND ARE TO BE DONE ON SUNDAYS.

DRINKING WATER: Water is obtained from 3 drilled wells and is chlorinated. Water samples are laboratory tested bi-weekly, and results are posted at the store. When not on your site, please turn it off at the post. A leak in your trailer can cause considerable damage as well as draining our supply. WATER CAN BE USED FOR FLOWERS & TREES - NOT FOR YOUR LAWN OR CAR. NO POOLS ARE ALLOWED ON TRAILER SITES.

HYDRO: Each site is provided with a 15 and 30 amp outlet. Breakers are installed in each outlet box. If they trip frequently, please check your trailer or equipment first. THEN CALL US. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR POWER OUTAGES OR BREAKER FAILURES. NO ELECTRIC HEATERS ALLOWED !

TELEPHONE MESSAGES: All messages will be posted on the board at the store. Please check.

STORE: Store and office hours are posted. No loitering after hours at or around this building.

WASHROOMS AND LAUNDROMAT: The washrooms are kept locked. Keys can be obtained for a $5.00 refundable deposit. Laundromat is always open.

BRUSH PILE: For brush and scrap wood.

COMPOST PILE: For grass clippings and leaves. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AREA AS A GARBAGE DUMP. Please take clippings out of garbage bags and reuse the bags.

GARBAGE: We do not pick up the garbage. Please take your HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE in plastic bags to the trailer located in the Bear section, off the main road. You will have to dispose of appliances, bikes, mattresses etc. yourselves at the Lindsay Landfill, located on Highway 36, North of Lindsay.

PLEASE DO NOT USE CAMPGROUND TRASH CANS FOR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE.

SEWAGE: We are on a septic system and to avoid problems, we would appreciate your co-operation: Hold sewage in holding tank until time to release. This avoids buildup of solids in the holding tank and will also accumulate enough water to get a better flow. Please use toilet chemical and single ply toilet paper only.

DO NOT FLUSH DOWN SANITARY NAPKINS, PAPER TOWELS OR DIAPERS.

To avoid blocking the main sewer line, do not put more than 10" of sewer hose or pipe into sewer hook- up. Do not park trailer directly over the hookup. By following these simple rules you will prevent sewer system trouble and inconvenience for yourselves and your neighbours. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SEWER BACK UPS, OR ANY DAMAGES INCURRED BY THIS.

We will not be held responsible for any taxes or levies that may be imposed in the future.

Anyone using our Trailer Park and facilities do so at their own risk. We will not be held responsible for theft, vandalism or accidents of any nature.
